Research on contemporary Elizabethan make-up

Alexander Mcqueen
touch of gold on the cupids bow of the lips and how the no eye brows is enhanced by the eye shadow almost creating almost a barrier  around them with the darkest colour at the edge with a small area of gold at the crease of the eye I love how it symbolizes Elizabethan the colours and styling of make-up makes it more modern. I love the colour scheme used The small sections of gold making it appear more high fashion in my eyes works so well as gold during the Elizabethan era being associated with wealth
I really Admire the work Pat Mcgrath did for the cat walk creating eccentric, futuristic but yet still historical with references back to the Elizabethan era. Its inspired me to think outside the box.

Backstage beauty: Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2014-2015, FW2014, Sarah Burton, Pat McGrath, Guido Palau, hair, make-up
More Pat Mcgrath
I love this look the ombre lips and blocked out eyebrows with the drawn on eyebrows on top.The pale complexion combined with the purple make it seem more Elizabethan as The purple underneath the eyes make me think of how Elizabethans used to draw veins onto there skin to make them seem paler.
i believe this is makeup artist pat mcgrath for john galliano.
